I hope I am wrong but I think Lecce will make our life difficult, more than any other of the remaining. Desperate to get out of the relegation marsh, on an impressive unbeaten run recently, these guys seem extremely tight. Novara is the second dangerous in my opinion. With more than half of their goals scored in the last 15 minutes of their games, it is a caution to be aware of (conceding goals in the very end of games last season still is in my memory, but of course less so with this Juve side…). Still, with the ball possession we have been having recently, all of the above are tests we are able to pass.

    • Juve_kennardi

you got the point there, but we play again lecce at home. I think the biggest problem is the away match again cagliari.. luckily cagliari won’t play at their stadium..

  • bianconeri714

Even against these bad sides, I dont predict us going 11 unbeaten. But Milan wont either. I think any of these games minus novara have trap potential

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_H2RGNJF76Q7X7GZVVK6M2NGHBQ W

Well we’re sitting on 36 unbeaten so… I take it you mean an 11 game winning streak. I personally don’t think it’s any more difficult to win your eleventh in a row than it was to win your tenth, ninth, and so forth.

      • daas88

If the team keeps going to the field with the same grinta as they did with Roma, we can defeat all those teams.

  • Dirtbunny

Don’t get me wrong.  Milan can be fun to watch when they are playing really well or losing terribly, but I find them hard to like.  That said, I was not happy seeing Milan get the draw against Bologna the way they did.  I want a nice, clean loss from them.  This draw might have been a win but for some dubious calls.  If Juventus wins the s*******, I do not want to be hearing Milan whine and bitch about bad calls “oooh we would have won if Juve didn’t have all the refs in their pocket blah blah blah”

Bad calls are part of the game.  I accept that.  Is it my imagination or have there been more bad calls than usual this season?

    • daas88

I think we could complain more about refs than them, they’ve been helped a lot more this season!

      • Juve_kennardi

I agree with you.. then they got a lot of penalty this season.. Ibra score 24 goals with a lot of penalty.. weird enough

        • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1344794257 Einoras Bružas

Let the numbers talk – Ibra scored 9 (!!!) penalties when Juve where given 2.

    • http://twitter.com/Juventino_22 Abo

simply, milan are cock-sucking pieces of shit.

a draw is better than a win ;)

  • Briandito

@Dirtbunny:disqus IF, milan fans relate us to calciopoli, tell them to learn their own history.  Milan was relegated to Serie B, and stayed there for 2 years because of calciopoli.  I think it’s in 1980 or something.  And if we won the Scudetto, I will tell em Milanistis to suck on their 1 star, while we’re having fun with 3 (plus a silver star if we win the scudetto).  Ciao.

  • Sabakku

I think Lecce and Cesena will be tough.

@Dirtbunny:disqus, it’s normal that you want a clean loss from Milan. But even if that happens (which i believe *will* happen), do you think they will accept their lose on scudetto race? we’ve raped them 3 times this year, remember? they will continue whining about refs, so be it. even calciopoli is a made up. we are Juventus, we dont need to steal anything. i still believe it until today.

Whatever happened to that facebook contest you guys were doing?

    • http://JuventiKNOWS.com TeamGREASE

Will pick a winner at the end of the season. Might even do a live drawing on the podcast!

      • JDAngkasa

        Podcast? What podcast?

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_H2RGNJF76Q7X7GZVVK6M2NGHBQ W

The longer you wait the further my chances drop aaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh, lol.

  • daas88

I don’t know if I like or dislike the fact that all the team is scoring goals but the strikers. The team is working like a real team and everyone gives their contribution, but I’d like to see one of our forwards among the top scorers…

Also, I’d like to see Borriello and Del Piero in other teams. Borriello because I never liked him, and Del Piero because he deserves to play his last season(s) with glory, just like Raúl is doing in Schalke.

    • http://twitter.com/Juventino_22 Abo

by glory, you mean ending his career at Juve right?

      • daas88

I’d like to, but I don’t think Conte will give him too many chances on the starting 11 =/

        • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1344794257 Einoras Bružas

I just can’t imagine him playing or another team. I grew up with him being at Juve and actually started supporting Juve ater seing him playing. And so did couple of my friends. When you see Nedved still at Juve and posibility that ADP will be out, i’m full of anger for Agnelli

          • http://twitter.com/Juventino_22 Abo

yea i cant see ADP playing for any team other than juve.

            makes me want to cry.

        • RContini

I’d prefer his last moment as a juve player to be lifting a trophy to the sky, that would be perfect. i don’t want him to rot on the bench, i’d feel bad for him as much as i have cherished his cameos this season. i’d actually quite like him to go to america as it would be great watching him destroy players half his age, might even make me watch it. hell, if Beckham and Robbie Keane are heroes there, Alex will be a God.

    • RContini

i like the fact, although obviously i’d feel better if the strikers were banging them in. it reminds me a bit of WC 2006, where every member is contributing something and no one is dominating, didn’t do us any harm there did it? Luca Toni won the golden boot for europe that year but he only got 2 out of 13 goals at the finals, in fact the 13 were scored by 11 different players! it was probably the best ‘team’ effort i have seen from a WC winner (although i’m biased of course)

we will be saying this about our team when we reflect after the end of the season.

    Awesome image, you guys.

    FLY, YOU FOOLS!

    • http://JuventiKNOWS.com TeamGREASE

must admit, your LOTR references on past posts did inspire my desire to put Gandalf on the frontpage sidebar for Shoutbox! Luckily Juve moved out in front by 3 points this week! :D

      • RContini

My LOTR reference is the best. Conte = Aragorn. check this clip and imagine our fearless leader ready to lead us out in the nou camp next season…………. ”Not this day, This day we FIGHT!”

        • http://twitter.com/tinnywonks Sharline

God, I love that speech. I can totally imagine Conte roaring those lines. “By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, MEN OF TURIN!”

          • RContini

Probably my fave movie/book quote of all time, and the speech that was leaked from him a few weeks ago instantly reminded me of this scene in the film (Gattuso said it got him all inspired and he doesn’t even play for us!) We need to get Conte a massive sword and a horse so he can wave it on the touch line, just to hammer the point home to the team.

        • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_H2RGNJF76Q7X7GZVVK6M2NGHBQ W

I always found Theoden’s scenes more powerful than that one. In fairness though, he had been king a lot longer.

          • RContini

Theoden’s scenes are awesome too, but Aragorn is a bit more apt, it is after all “The Return of the King”! and in the story Aragorn effectively comes in from nowhere and has to convince his men to follow him into almost certain death. I like to think this is the equivalent of Conte trying to get Vucinic to track back and defend in his own box– and crucially, he listens!

      • http://twitter.com/tinnywonks Sharline

Haha, thanks! The power of Milan is ended…the time has come for the dominion of Juventus.

    • http://www.juventiknows.com Marco P.

Gonna look at that Balrog with different eyes now.

  • Somnath_Sengupta

Lecce, haven’t lost in a month, has couple of bad ass South Americans on loan from Udinese, both in good form. Cosmi and his collection of caps on the sideline. They have a realistic chance of escaping the drop.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1344794257 Einoras Bružas

I’m a bit wondering if Caceres will be let in with Cesena as for me it looks like he’s performing slightly better than Lichsteiner does at the moment. And his powerful strikes!.. Oh.

  • JDAngkasa

Nobody mentions Cesena, but I personally think Cesena would be the most difficult, because it will be the first game for quite some time where we need to take the game to an opponent who’ll defend with 10 men. During our 6 game winning streak, all our opponents wanted to attack, so it was easier for us to disassemble their defense. Now that we’re facing an opponent where they don’t want to play ball, we’ll need to shift gear and do something different. If we win comfortably against Cesena, I can see us gaining confidence to face the rest.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_H2RGNJF76Q7X7GZVVK6M2NGHBQ W

Cesena have to play for a win, if they don’t win they’ll be mathematically unable to avoid relegation.

      • JDAngkasa

It’s virtually impossible for them to avoid relegation in any case. Only a miracle of the highest order can prevent it. The problem is not that they will be motivated, but that they will be defending with no intention to attack. That has been our main problem this season.

        • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_H2RGNJF76Q7X7GZVVK6M2NGHBQ W

Well maybe I’m putting too much stock in their professionalism, but I would think that even though their safety is virtually(?) impossible, the fact that a draw puts the nail in their coffin would keep them fighting for a win.

Of course they’ll pack it in and try to get lucky on a counter or a corner, but come the 80th minute if it’s still 0-0 they have no reason not to push for a win and every reason to.

  • RContini

We have the kind of team right now which excells at carving open teams which want to come and play, as we have seen in the last few. CM and AV are so lively they overrun the opposition midfield and when pirlo has space like he has recently, picking his passes is easy and eventually we get through (or quickly in sundays case!)

the big problem is when we have to lay siege against someone who parks the bus because we don’t have strength up front (except Donkiello!) or a clinical enough finisher that can exploit tiny spaces and be sure to be in exactly the right place when the ball drops. we need a trezeguet or even a Pippo! i thought Matri was going to be it but apparantly not. Cesena will be tough, especially as its an early kick off and we seem to do struggle in those. they gave us bother last time we played them.

Hopefully Conte will be less pragmatic and throw everything at them, we’ll probably only need one goal and then it will be a landslide. i would like del piero to play at least 45 in this game as his genius could be crucial in a game where he shouldn’t need to run too far.

  • xkemex

the more desperate the opponent the tougher the game… so my prediction all of those game will be very very tough to win..we must put all 100 percent as those team will play 10 defender in front of goals..!! we cannot waste any chance in front of goals! we are so close to the tittle lets hope we dont screw this one..!! god bless juve..!! forza juve..!!

nice! I’ll add the link to today’s STTBS

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_H2RGNJF76Q7X7GZVVK6M2NGHBQ W

5 years and no bookings? Scoring goals and then switching to defense to hold the lead? Some of the stuff in that article in nearly unbelievable.

      • http://iltifosi.tumblr.com/ Adam Digby

When it says no bookings it mean EVER not just at Juve!

  • Darkhorse1234

Anyone seen the forward from Montpellier Olivier Giroud? He looks a very good player that we should be interested in, and he wears the #17. I think he could do well in this Juve

  • Azim1980

All our Opponents are tough….. We can’t afford to be complacent with any team!!!!
