After a short but sharp discussion at the Juventiknows HQ, it was decided that just because the players seemingly were too partied out to deliver on Sunday, there was no reason why the JK crew shouldn’t set aside the Prosecco for a moment in order to (over)analyse that ill-fated match.
Consequently, two days after that literally unique defeat to Napoli in the Coppa Italia final, Marco, Mike and Lars teamed up to record their takes on the game and its (thankfully not too grave) significance.
While the reactions range from quiet acceptance and conveniently conjured-up silver linings (Lars) to outrage-in-principle (Mike), the guys manage to agree in the end that a Scudetto may be ever so slightly more important in the big Black & White picture than a Coppa. And that, despite the massive consequences to the 2012-13 kits, gold stars are – by and large – prettier than silver ones anyway!
Inevitably, the conversation touched upon a few other important issues such as the all but inexplicable presence of Borriello in the Juve starting XI, whether or not Matri’s exclusion from same was a question of a form dip or vice-versa, and potential dual MATTRESS BANGING™ in Montreal come summertime!!
Enjoy! We shall do our utmost to live up to our promise to be back in your ears sooner rather than later (all listening at own peril etc.)
Aaron, Adam, John, Lars, Marco, and Mike
