Juventus 2011-12 PAGELLE – Season Ratings

It has now been several weeks since the 2011-12 Serie A ended and most of the Juventus players have scattered across the globe, either to profit from a hard-earned holiday with their families or defend their nation’s colors in the lands of Poland & Ukraine. It is certainly the case for our Azzurri contingent, which counts no less than 7 Bianconeri amongst its ranks.

At any rate, it will be another month or so before our heroes gather up again to prepare for another glorious campaign, so in the meantime, while we all wait in between news of “PAUL POGBA HAS SIGNED FOR JUVENTUS” (for the billionth time) and “GIOVINCO IN TALKS WITH INTER? I’LL KILL MYSELF IF IT HAPPENS”, here’s our comprehensive review of every player to have contributed (even in very small ways *cough*Grosso*cough*) to Juve’s dazzling 30th Scudetto title!

Each of us at JuventiKnows has provided a rating and a short paragraph for each Bianconero. Along with the six-writer end-of-the-season average, we have also included – as a comparative means – an average based on this season’s match reports. Confronting the two figures will sometimes give rise to surprising results, as a player’s rating in individual matches may not necessarily reflect one’s general impression of him at the campaign’s conclusion.

Also, because reviewing 29 Players/Staff is a strenuous ordeal, we have decided to split the series into several sections, by playing position on the field. This will also allow YOU to have plenty of time to digest everything (as you’ll see, some of our comments can get pretty detailed!)
