I am pleased to see there are no runs of intense figures in a row besides Fiorentina/Inter/Napoli which could prove tricky. One thing that stands out to me, though, is theres a game on Oct. 23 and then again on Oct. 25? Since when are there games only two days apart? I thought the least amount of days allowed, or at least ever used, was 3… am I wrong?

I’m guessing we’re playing catch-up this year, because of Euro 2012. We have to finish earlier than usual.

As for the dates you noted, Oct 23 is a Sunday, Oct 25 Tuesday. Perhaps it’s a mistake and the games will actually be played Wednesday. We’ll have to see closer to matchdate.

Mid-week rounds always listed for Tuesday, as there is always a game that day (usually two teams who played the previous Saturday), then the majority are Weds, while one is Thursday. The following week (Oct 31) will likely be a Saturday game for all as that Monday is obviously a holiday in Italy

Yeah, im pretty sure it’s a typo; my calendar says that games on the 26th which is the Wednesday.

Its so tough to say which will be the difficult stretches for this team, since they play so much better against top & bottom table than mid table teams. Who would have thought our season would be ruined last year by losses to Parma (H)/Napoli/Roma (H)/Udinese (H)/Palermo all in one month (Jan 5-Feb 6)!!

I do like opening the new stadium against Parma though, who beat us 5-1 aggregate last year…will be sweet revenge in our new home, and giovinco can go suck it. Also, it’s strange that we only have back-to-back home games twice all year (Oct 23-25 and Mar 25-Apr 1) and back-to-back road games once all year (Oct 30 @Inter, Nov. 6 @Napoli). Can we please get this shit started, watching only EPL is such a tease!!!
