Titanic Serie A Weekend Results – The Juventus SHOUTBOX – By Fans. For Fans.

In case you didn’t know, both AC Milan (2-1 away to Udinese) and Inter Milan (0-2 at home to Siena!!!) lost on Sunday, and with each Top 5 contender stumbling this weekend Juventus sit clear at the top of the table after Matchday #4.

Here’s a quick look at the top of the current Serie A table:

  Overall Home Away
Pts P W D L GF GA W D L GF GA W D L GF GA
Juventus
12 4 4 0 0 11 2 2 0 0 4 0 2 0 0 7 2
Napoli
10 4 3 1 0 8 2 2 0 0 5 2 1 1 0 3 0
Lazio
9 4 3 0 1 7 2 1 0 1 3 1 2 0 0 4 1
Sampdoria
9 4 3 1 0 7 4 1 1 0 3 2 2 0 0 4 2
Fiorentina
7 4 2 1 1 6 4 2 0 0 4 1 0 1 1 2 3

The gap between Juventus and the rest of the table was helped this weekend by 2nd-place Napoli drawing 0-0 at Catania and 3rd-place Lazio losing 0-1 at home to Genoa (with a goal by… wait for it… Marco Borriello!!!) while Sampdoria and Fiorentina both drew 1-1 in their matches against Torino and Parma.

Switching to the 24-hour comedy channels in Milano, poor Inter Milan are only in 6th place, barely missing out on being Top 5… while their sister club AC Milan slide towards the anchorman seat at 15th place, earning a mere 3 points in 4 total matches. Sure it’s only 4 rounds into the season, but it’s always fun to watch the two-ring Circus Spectacular currently running 7 nights a week in Milano.

But enough about the rest, let’s talk about the best.

Juventus is at the top of their table and at the top their game. And here at JuventiKNOWS.com we’re busy providing you table-topping non-stop content; whether it be MATCH PREVIEWS, MATCH REPORTS, TeamEATS or STTBS: Juventus News; we try to work as hard on this site as Juventus work on the pitch.

And damn, are our boys BUSY! The Juve 2-0 Chievo match review is already posted, which concluded a three-match week that saw Juve face off against Genoa and vs. Chelsea.

But the hectic schedule does not end with Chievo; looking ahead Juventus have a grueling next 2 weeks.

Juventus Schedule for the next 14 days:

  • Tuesday September 25 @ 20:45 – SERIE A
    Fiorentina vs. Juventus
  • Saturday September 29 @ 20:45 – SERIE A
    Juventus vs. Roma
  • Tuesday October 02 @ 20:45 – UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
    Juventus vs. Shakhtar Donetsk
  • Sunday October 07 @ 15:00 – SERIE A
    Siena vs. Juventus

Thankfully Juventus have another boring International Break from October 12-16 to catch their breath and relax before meeting Napoli for Week 8.

Wait, what did you say? That practically our entire team will be busy during international break? Ah, damn it, you’re right. No rest for the weary.

Hey speaking of schedules, did you know we released the complete Juventus 2012-2013 Season Calendar right here on JuventiKNOWS?

We wanted it, but we couldn’t find it, so we built it ourselves: an up-to-date all-tournament Juventus Season Schedule — complete with match report links for EVERY fixture for all of Juve’s three competitions (with a special section on Pre-Season matches!).

Check out the exclusive JuventiKNOWS COMPLETE SEASON JUVENTUS CALENDAR! It’s the perfect way to keep up on Juve’s schedule, whether it be CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, SERIE A, or COPPA ITALIA.

Bookmark away, folks!

I think the away trip to Fiorentina will be most difficult among these matches. Viola have looked good this season and they will be even more eager to beat Juventus after the Berbatov fiasco. Beware of JoJo !

The most exciting match for me would be against Shakhtar, because it will be the match that we will see if Juve can get out of the CL group or not.

But, I agree with @Somnath_Sengupta:disqus, the Fiorentina match will be the most difficult one. They always played like their lives are on the line against us, and recent events will only make them more fired up.

I am craving for Champions League in Juventus Stadium so it has to be Shakhtar game that will be the most exciting match. It’s interesting that Roma game get the highest vote so far. I don’t think we’ll have a problem facing Roma, especially in Turin.

ah, to hear that CL music play in Juventus Stadium… I have chills already.

As a piece of music, the CL anthem is dreadful. When I hear it, I always think of Heineken, which I’m sure is exactly why a CL anthem even exists. But then, I have no soul. ;P

          Tsk. Silly girl. :)

For the poll, gotta go with Roma. My brother is a Roma fan and it’s all about trolling in calcio. Plus, I’d love to see Zeman upset.

Thanks for all your hard work guys, I really appreciate it. For me, all of Juve’s matches will be the most exciting one :P , but if you want me to choose, I’ll go for Shakhtar Donetsk because that is the second opportunity for the whole world to witness the Old Lady’s rejuvenated football have its shout in Europe.
